Just a little of what our three have been up too.
Kai has been a little mischievous lately, but it's so hard to get upset with him. Last night he kept coming out of his room at bedtime. When I told him it was his last chance before a time out he said, "okay, goodnight gorgeous" and went to bed.
Annie took this picture of our "boys". Kai has grown up so much lately he seems like just one of the "boys" now.
Kai is our chipped tooth, black eyed boy lately. He had this black eye from hitting his face on our ottoman, then he got a smaller one on his other eye from a ball and now he has a new one from falling at our ward Christmas party.
Kai is about to start primary and his nursery leader told me that when Kai leaves they'll have a lot bigger food budget because Kai wants more and more food during snack time. Lately Kai says "my tummy hurts, I need some candy". He's a snacker.
Annie is loving school, doing so well, and being just as girlie as ever.
I still get to spend a few afternoons a week with just her and I love it. When Crate and Barrel opened we stopped by the mall and Annie had her face painted, watched a magic show, and got a balloon.
Of course she had to pose.Annie drew our family and made us all big University of Utah fans.
Carson is growing up so fast. He is always happy when I pick him up from school and has been learning so much. We have a neighbor that is always giving Carson fun presents for his birthday. This year he gave him rockets.
These two got so excited every time we would launch a rocket. Kai not so much. The rockets scared him.
Each rocket opened into a parachute and Carson and Annie would run to grab them. I'll go in fazes where I don't blog as much, but it's one of the only ways I document the little things that I always hope to remember.

I love hearing little bits and pieces of your adorable children's lives. Seeing those pictures makes me want to reach right through the computer and squeeze them!
Kai sounds like quite the little character! You are so smart to document the cute things he says, because they're only little for a minute! Those toddler years seem to be just quick fleeting moments in their lives...coming and going almost faster than we can blink.
I love Annie's cute pose in the mall picture! Holy smokes...what a sweet lil' diva. :) I'm already looking forward to seeing our little girls together next year when they go to the Nutcracker. They are so cute together.
Mat and Easton love doing those rockets, too. It's fun to see other dad's being "kids" again with their young boys. Rockets are such an important part of boyhood!!
