Pool, Beach, Repeat.

Every morning while we stayed at my Aunt's Carson would do this.

He is a fish in the pool. After swimming in the morning we would switch off between our favorite beaches La Jolla and Del Mar.

My family has been going to La Jolla almost every summer since I was four. It is one of my all time favorite places.

Annie might get a little scared in pools, but she is a beach girl. I kept having to tell her to not go out too far.

The kids loved the water until we made them get out when we saw these jelly fish swimming around them. Yuck!

My cute grandparents live less then a half an hour from the beach. Even though they don't make it there very often anymore they came to spend the afternoon with the kids.

Hunting for sea shells with Great Grandpa.

Taylor, my cousin Elisa's little girl is two months older then Kai. My aunt helped them carry buckets of water for sandcastles.

At Legoland you can pay $12 for parking and get a shopping pass into the park for an hour. The first time we tried to do it was during Star Wars days. It was sooo packed we didn't want to wait in line for over an hour, but Carson did see Storm Troopers. The second time we went there weren't any lines and Carson was completely happy just to be there.

He loved seeing this.

In the hour we were there we saw all the miniture cities they have built out of Lego's.

Craft night. My twin cousins Elisa and Heather make amazing headbands and hair clips and they showed us how to make them with the flowers we bought in L.A..
