While Todd was at Scout Camp Carson, Annie, Kai, and I drove down to San Diego and stayed at my Aunt Gail's. My cousin Becky, her daughter Brooklyn and my mom drove down too. The second day we were there my mom watched Carson and Kai while Annie and I spent the day in L.A.. Our first stop was to Bottega Louie for brunch. An amazing bakery/restaurant.
These girls were so cute together. Emma, Alexis, Annie, and Brooklyn. We squished them in the backseat and they just played the whole drive. Using their gum for teeth.
My cousin Elisa and her daughter Emma, my cousin Becky and her daughter Brooklyn, us, and my cousin Heather and her daughter Alexis.
After brunch we headed to the design district. It was a little crazy there to take pictures, but we spent hours at amazing fabric and bead stores. I think L.A. girls days should happen more often.

You were brave to drive clear down to L.A. alone with all three of your kids! Good for you, girl! It looks like you really enjoyed your time there. It's a good thing that I have never run into a cookie shop like that one...because I'd need to go out and buy bigger jeans the very next day! ;)
so fun!!!! what a great way to spend your week!!!
