Half

For twelve weeks I was hungry, tired, and craving late night onion rings and I'm not even pregnant. A few months ago Todd and I decided to run a half marathon. We ran the whole thing together. Sometimes I would look at Todd and he seriously looked like he was using every muscle in his body to go as slow as me. What a great husband I have. At my pace I think he barely broke a sweat.

Todd's parents let Carson and Annie sleepover at their home before the race and they brought them down to see us finish. My dad came down too and my my mom stayed at our house and watched Kai.

My mother-in-law took some awesome pictures for us. This picture was taken at the exact moment we ran past them. Annie begged to have her picture taken on one of these pillars. Marla and Carson were sad that they missed us, but I think by the look on her face Annie thought this picture was worth it.

For the last three miles I kept thinking about seeing these two and I did have the cast of Glee singing "Don't Stop Believing" on repeat.

Running this was even more fun than we thought it would be. This day also reminded us once again how amazing our families are. They made this day perfect for us.

Congrats! It's really no easy pursuit! You look so GREAT too! I love the part about Todd looking like he was using every muscle to stay at your pace;). I told Shawn about Todd saying that while training he's just been taking it down a notch to run together, but he could go a lot faster. We cracked up at that because I know that's how is for Shawn too;)!

Cute pics of the kiddos - the one of Annie may have been worth it:)!
