Posting about everything we've done the past few weeks sounds a little overwhelming. So instead, my favorite New Year's memory from last decade.
December 31, 2001 I had just turned 21 and was home from Utah State for the break. I don't know how I ended up in the shoe department of Meyer and Frank with my brother and four of his friends, but somehow I was there to give a girl opinion. It was a combination of my brother's friends from high school and Utah State. I had always looked at all my brother's friends as just friends, but that day everything changed. My brother's friend Todd was on the phone and at that moment I looked at him and I remember thinking "Todd is really cute". Suddenly he wasn't just my brother's friend. He was a hot guy! Sometime between the shoe shopping and Jason Johnson trying on a mini skirt in American Eagle and modeling it through the store, Todd mentioned that he loved it when girls wore white buttoned down shirts. After shopping I borrowed my step-sister Jenni's shirt and my friends Cyndi, Cindi, and I primped ourselves out. We went over to my brother's friend Brian's house and Todd was there. Of my brother's friends I had hung out with Todd the least, but that night we talked the whole time. I remember thinking cute (check), nice (check), fun (check), and when he introduced me to his best friends dad I kindof felt like we were dating. My friends and I ended up not staying until midnight because we we went to a party at Salt Air. We didn't go on our first date until almost two months later and our first kiss was two months after that, but New Year's Eve 2001 was the day that started everything that our life is today. Happy New Year!

Also, I have to tell you that your Christmas card is beautiful! We had it on our fridge with friends and family Christmas cards and my brother-in-laws were all, "Is that Jenn Tayor? She is so pretty!"
