Pioneer Day

Someone in our family has been sick for weeks. What? It's July! Just when one of us starts to get better someone else gets it. It all started around Pioneer day. With sick kids we celebrated just with our little family. We went to a local carnival in the afternoon. They had about fifteen giant inflatable toys and our kids were in heaven.

Todd got a workout helping Annie up the slides.

She looked so tiny bouncing down.

They had a car show and Life Flight. Carson loves helicopters.

Since our kids were sick we didn't want to keep them up for fireworks. They are such troopers and kept telling us that they felt okay for fireworks. We compromised and bought a few fireworks to do in our neighborhood.

The parachutes were their favorites.

Happy Pioneer Day!

Okay, so that is the cutest and most precious picture of Annie and Carson looking up at the fireworks! I love the little look of amazement on their faces! Too cute!
