Sew Baby!

For Mother's day Todd got me my first sewing machine. I have been wanting to learn how to sew since I can remember. I love fabric and love to look at it on-line and in stores, but I've only been able to imagine what I would do with it until now. Knowing nothing about sewing, but wanting to make dresses, I ordered a pattern from Etsy. I purchased the amount of fabric required for the project per the seller and waited for my pdf file of the pattern and instructions. It was thirty pages long! What was I thinking?
