Last night Carson, Annie, and I had a Valentines party with heart shaped sandwiches, pink lemonade, strawberries, and I planned to make Strawberry Buttercream Cupcakes from this month's Martha Stewart magazine. I've never made Buttercream frosting, but after almost an hour and three sticks of butter it was tasting and looking delish. I added the last ingredient, the strawberry puree, and watched my fluffy frosting turn into a chunky mess.
Thank goodness for Betty Crocker, Carson and Annie were still able to have the strawberry cupcakes they were waiting for.

I have to admit, I'm a Betty through and through. Martha always seems to turn into a mess for me too!
