A Christmas Poem

Normally our blog documents our life with three busy little kids, but this post will be a variation from our norm. At the beginning of the month I woke up one morning and thought of a poem and I wrote it down. This month has been so busy it has been a good reminder to me to remember to keep the craziness in perspective.

There was a year that Christmas came and went.
Among the hustle and bustle my spirit slept.
There were presents and parties,
but my mind did not reflect on the babe that heaven sent.
The days went by until life brought me to my knees,
and for him I had forgotten I wept.
How could I not remember how much his birth had ment?
Now at the season I do not forget the reason,
in my heart his great love I have kept.
