I was one stressed out momma before he started. It was a lot harder for me to have him go then I thought it would be. Long story, but we missed his orientation and I actually told Todd that since we missed it I was going to send Cars to a different preschool. I'm not normally one to overreact, unless I'm pregnant, but I was devasted. Luckily I have such a patient and logical husband, he convinced me that everything would be okay.
Then there was his bookbag. They sell bookbags at the school, but they told me I could get them at Walmart or a craftstore too. I decided to save a few dollars and buy it from one of the stores. I tried Walmart and couldn't find any. At the craftstore I couldn't find them either and when I asked the sales lady where they were Carson decided to grab himself a ton of paintbrushes from the aisle. The sales lady was not too happy about this and when I tried to put them back she said "you won't know where to put them, give them to me, you'll just mess it up". Oops! Then the bookbags they had weren't what I was looking for. I decided to just buy one from the school, but I couldn't figure out how to run in with all my three when they were open and not complicate their drop off/ pick up system (which I love). After going to two more craft stores I finally found what I was looking for. What a mess I'm going to be when he starts all day school.

Oh man I'm getting worried about having to do anything like shopping with three kids. We aren't doing pre school this year. And I just found out the other day kindergarten is all day. Now I will be stress for two whole years about missing out on my get used to your kid being gone at school everday with just a half day, because he will just be gone all day everyday all of the sudden. So maybe that will make you feel a little better. I'm sure Carson will love school and do great. Oh and let me know what Isaac is missing out on so I can try and teach him some of it at home.
Congrats on Carson being in Preschool and that he is liking it! He is such a little stud!
