Make sure your mom thinks you're asleep then sneak into the pantry and close the door. You don't even need a bowl, just add all ingredients to the flour that mom keeps in a jar.
Ingredients:
Vanilla (Big new bottle from Costco)
Bottle of Vinegar
Box of Black Pepper
Food Coloring (Not just the cheap kind, use Mom's from Sur La Table too)
Sprinkles
Chocolate Chips
Taco Seasoning (3 packages)
Dad's Protein Powder (6 packages)
Nutmeg
Onion Powder
Ceyenne Pepper
Oregeno
Baking soda
Open all the frosting you can find and stick knives into them.
When your mom realizes your not asleep and asks you what you're doing say "I don't know". When she opens the pantry door say with a smile "I'm making a cake".

What a brilliant child! Just think Jenn, he could be the next Iron Chef!
Oh My Word!!! I think i would have died! It sounds like you handled it a lot better then I would have!
SORRY!! So did it taste any good? I'm glad it's just not mine that do things like that.
LOL! I love it! He's too cute. Those are probably the times you have to take a few deep breaths and laugh about it, instead of cry! Sorry about all the wasted food!
good to see you guys handle some things the same way we do - laugh and take a picture! I'm not sure I could have laughed at that one, but at least the mess was pretty much contained! Bummer about the wasted food though.
That is awesome. I know it is going to happen to me someday!!!
Oh no! Too funny though!
Of COURSE I remember you! Don't you remember when we worked together for 2 minutes in SLC at Consumer's First? You were either engaged or just married, I can't remember -and I had been married for about 6 months.
I can't believe Becky is your cousin -I'm so glad you commented or else we never would have known we had a connection! It's Utah, it's bound to happen!
I was glad to go see Jason's blog, I always wondered whatever happened to him. I think my sister, who always knows the goss, had told me he got married, but I wanted details! So I was glad to get a peek into their life, his wife seems great! They look really happy so I'm so glad.
I can't believe you have 3 kids. Holy cow! So are you guys still in Salt Lake?
Jas told me about this incident a little while ago but it really comes to life when you see the picture! It's sad but cute when kids think they're doing a really great thing but in reality it's a disaster!
Yummy! what a guy, so sweet. Another deduction from his college fund to pay for the wasted food?
This is the best blog entry.... EVER!!!! That is the funniest thing that I have seen in a long time. And when it is happining to you, it may not be so funny, but,WOW!!!! What a kid!!
