I just finally got Carson's birthday pictures downloaded. So overdue, but on Oct. 4 Carson turned three. I can hardly believe that we have a three year old. We can't believe how much he has changed over the past few years.

What a joy this little boy is. He has been almost non-stop on the move since I can remember, sometimes it's hard, but we wouldn't have it any other way. He is so fun, smart, helpful, and sweet. Last week while I was getting ready he was in the tub and he said "mom, you look cute". For his birthday we had a little party with his playgroup friends. He had a Cars party with pin the wheel on the car, box car racing, and a Car Cake. That night we went to Cafe Rio, Carson's favorite restaurant (how could it not be with us as parents and since I ate it almost everyday I was pregnant with him). We also took Carson to Kiddie Kandid for his 3 year pictures. This is the first time that he's loved getting his picture taken. He was so cute posing for the photographer that she kept putting different outfits on him. For the last pose she had him take off his shirt, wear a tie and a top hat, and hold a flower. Todd whispered to me "is this his Chip and Dale picture". It was so funny. He looked so cute, but by then he was worn out and he couldn't figure out how to hold the hat with one hand and raise a rose with the other. So unfortunatly Carson's "Chip and Dale" pictures didn't happen.

While Carson was opening presents Annie was in her high chair and she grabbed a spatuala covered in frosting from off the table. When Cars was done opening presents we found her like this. She was one happy and messy girl.


We got Carson a scooter just like his friend Isaac's.
