Paris and Boston

I had no idea when I started posting about our trip that It would take the entire month for me to finish it. Ooops! After two nights in Verona we began our long trip home. We started by taking a two hour train and then a 30 min. bus ride to the Milan airport. From Milan we flew to Paris, where we had a six hour layover. We had planned to go to see the Eifeel Tower, but we didn't have enough time. We were so determined to see Paris that we took a train to see Notra Dame Cathedral for 20 min. So worth it. Paris was a little different than we expected. We saw teenagers randomly searched on the train and in the airport the security guards carried machine guns around with their fingers on the triggers. From Paris we took an eight hour flight to Boston. We arrived in Boston around 9 p.m. and headed to Faneuil Hall. We had so much fun watching the Red Socks game at a restaurant full of screaming fans and a live band. We only saw this city at night, but we'd love to go back again. We had such an amazing trip between seeing beautiful places and touring fascinating furniture manufacturing facilities, but we were so excited to get back to our Carson and Annie.

I am SURE that it was such a nice break from the kids, but it was no wonder that you were excited to see them. They are just too cute!!! What a fun trip! I hope you get to have more fun adventures with just the two of you! You deserve it!
