California Vacay
Last Friday we started our trip to San Diego with my family. Unfortunatly we couldn't find our camera, so I don't have any pictures. We left Friday night and stayed in St. George. Britt was so nice to let us stay at her family's gorgeous home there. On Saturday morning Todd woke up way early to golf 18 holes at Ledges before we had to leave at eleven. He said it is the nicest golf course he has gone to in Utah. We met my family at In-and-Out in Vegas. So good. Then we went to the outlets at Primm. Always fun. We arrived at my Aunt's house around eight. My Aunt has a Cocker Spaniel and Carson kept saying "the doggie is going to eat Carson", but luckily by the end of the trip he loved playing with the dog. It was so cute to see the two of them playing on the tramp together. Before going to bed we went for a swim in my Aunt's gorgeous swimming pool. The next morning we went swimming again before heading to the beach at Del Mar. I love Del Mar and it was perfect beach weather. We went boogie boarding for a few hours, before eating at In-and-Out again. We would be in so much trouble if they ever open an In-and-Out in Utah. Becky and Timm did introduce us to the imitation In-and-Out called Chatters in Lehi (good, but luckily not the same). That night my grandparents and twin cousins came with their families over for dinner. It was so fun to get together with everyone. On Monday we went to Horton Plaza and I was so excited when I saw that they have a Steve and Berry's. I have wanted to go to one ever since Sarah Jessica Parker was on Oprah talking about her Bitten line she did exclusively for them. I got two pairs of pants for fifteen dollars each. Todd got a pair of shorts for seven dollars. We definitly want to go back. Amanda Bynes is doing a line for them that comes out August 17th. That night we went to Moonlight beach in Encinidas. We had never been there before. My cousin Brendan and his friends love to go surfing there. We boogie boarded and my cousin showed Todd how to surf for his second time. I had so much fun jumping the waves with Carson while my mom watched Annie. Carson kept wanting to go farther and farther into the ocean (another testimonial for swimming lessons). On Tuesday morning we started our drive home. For lunch we went to In-and-Out again and then for dinner we went to the Pizza Factory in St. George. The coolest thing about our drive home was that at the Pizza Factory Carson decided to use the toilet twice by himself. We were so excited. He's not potty trained yet, but he's getting closer. I can't wait. One baby in diapers sounds like a dream. We had such a fun trip and we are so excited to go back to Cali in a few weeks.
